Recently we launched our publishing app in the Script5 admin. From the publishing app you can publish to multiple blogs, multiple twitter accounts and also to update your sponsor news section.
Using this app you can manage multiple hosted blogs and post to tons of twitter accounts with lightening speed. No more having to remember passwords etc
Ok so as you know script5 manages all your hosted galleries for you.
Tags, organizes, exports, generates rss feeds etc.
But what if you don’t know how to make a hosted gallery in the first place?
The answer is here
The simplest way is to insert the following code anywhere you want the affiliate code to appear.
So a link to your tour would loook like if you are on Ccbill.
This assumes that you leave the Script5 link var as ccbill in the settings.
Make sure you save the page with a .php extension.
A different way to do it is this.
At the very top of your page place this code.
Make sure there’s no space before this code. Then everywhere you want to insert the affiliate code use this code.
So your link code would look like.
If you are on zombaio it works exactly the same just your link would look like
For zombaio sites we recommend setting the link var as ‘id’ to avoid potential confusion for affiliates.
Any questions let us know.
One of the things we said when we decided to code Script5 was that it shouldn’t take a long time setting up a cash program.
Basically its just a one page sales pitch about your company, sites and then if people are interested to sign up a way for them to do so. Sure you’re gonna need some dollar bills, some rapper bling and a picture of a lambo.
So Script5 has officially launched its 5 minute cash program. A pre designed theme which works right out the box. If the whole process takes more than 5 mins we’ll buy you a starbucks
Here’s the process.
Step one: Create a Script5 account.
Step two: Enter your billing details and ftp info.
Step three: Add at least one paysite and a banner or something.
Step four: Download our free ‘green’ theme. ( Or blue)
Step five: Edit your script5 user ID and cash program name in vars.php
Step six: Upload the files to your server.
Thats it
Here’s how it looks. www.cashlantis.com/green
It has full functionality right out the box. Sure you can get your own design developed any time you want or integrate an existing design. But really all you need to add is that lambo pic.
Script5 is please to announce it now works for programs running a Zombaio affiliate program.
While there are some affiliate tool management software options available for those programs running on Ccbill we have the first support for zombaio.
As always with Script5 affiliates only ever need one login. So from now on affiliates can use one login to gather tools for both CCbill and Zombaio programs. We will also have Epoch support added soon.
Well the main project this week is morphing rss feeds.
This entails a blog manager in the script5 admin. Thats the simple part.
Slightly more complicated is a plugin to work with wordpress to pass the affiliate code deep into the permalink structure. Ensuring no traffic leaks as far as affiliates are concerned.
We are also coding a community synonym manager which will let all script5 owners help to make the most robust morphing feeds synonym database available.
Once we get that plugged in to the admin we are going to work on some dashboard improvements.
Busy week!
Well you’ve just made a great choice. You’ve decide to use Script5 and you have signed up for one month free to check it out.
Now you are logged in at app.script5.com and want to know the first steps. Ok let’s go through the first steps now
Script5 wants to know some basic info about your cash program. Everything should be obvious, the Gallery link var is just the variable you use in hosted galleries, if you don’t know what that means leave it alone for now.
After the formalities we come to FTP info. You will need to have ftp info ready from your hosting provider.
When setting up the ftp info its important to remember Script5 is logging in via ftp just as you do, so we don’t need the full server path such as web/sites/etc. Script5 needs the path that you follow in your ftp client which might look more like mydomain.com/html for example.
Remember to make the media folder using your ftp client. You do not need to chmod the folder. Its this media folder that we will use to store all over your videos / banners etc.
Once you think you have the info right test your ftp info. If there is an error try adding or subtracting a / this leads to most problems or contact us.
Once its working correctly save you info and you are ready to start using script5. I suggest you go add a paysite first!
There’s an easy way to add POTD using ftp.
First login to the POTD manager on Script5. Create a new POTD.
Then create a folder on your computer. The folder should be named the same as the POTD you have created in Script5. Inside the folder place 31 images, named 1.jpg thru 31.jpg.
Note if you name the potd My Paysite then folder will need to be named my-paysite.
Upload the folder to /media/potd
Head back to Script5 admin and hit gen potd thumbs and your potd will be automatically created.
From time to time remember to use the picture manager to add some fresh pictures into the potd. Especially around holidays like Xmas / Valentines.
And as always, don’t forget to add lots of tags
